Art in Golf Proposal Guidelines

Eligibility

  • Local/International Artists
  • Completed Proposal Guidelines as well as timely submission.
  • Understand participation in the Triennial is awarded within the discretion of the Foundation.

Important Dates

  • The artist must complete and submit their proposal before August 15, 2023.
  • All artwork must be produced before installation between mid-February and mid-March 2024.
  • 2 weeks, dates to be determined between mid-February and mid-March 2024
    will be reserved for installation of work at chosen site.

The Foundation is not responsible for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware, software, malfunctions of the entrant’s email provider, lost, late, incomplete entries, or entries not received in time for consideration. The Foundation is not responsible for problems downloading or accessing the Proposal or any other technical problems related to submissions. The Foundation shall not have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or that do not comply with these instructions, (ii) entries or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, or (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties.

The Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the artist’s participation in the Triennial. As the Residency is located at a construction site, no children are allowed on the premises at any time for their own safety.

Note: Any issues concerning construction or conceptual development shall be discussed with the Curatorial Committee. 

These rules may be changed at any time, but only by the Board of Directors.

Acknowledgement of Entries

Entrants will receive an email acknowledgement when an Entry has been received.

Detailed Submission Instructions: 

Entrants must complete and submit the Official Entry Form on this page before May 31st 2021. An entry is considered processed after the completed Entry Form is received by the Foundation.

The Entry Form requires the Entrant to provide name, address, email address, phone number, up to 3 .JPG (min 1920 x 1080, 170dpi) images of the proposed project. The written statement, which must not to exceed 500 words, shall discuss how the project reflects the Triennial’s prompt. A video (.mp4, 300MB, 1920 x 1080, no longer than 3 minutes) that explains or demonstrates the work is not required, but recommended.

Entries delivered by any other means will not be accepted.
