Founded by museologist Carolina Stubbe in 2008, arte_FITS.Foundation<\/strong> is a pioneer in the production of ephemeral art on the island, initially inspired by Land-art it has now expanded its boundaries to projects that establishes a dialogue between art and nature.<\/p>


arte_FITS Foundation, is a non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the visual arts and its benefits to humanity, qualified under section 501.(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.<\/div>

We are dedicated to fostering creativity skills and community engagement through innovative art and design. Our primary focus lies in curating and sponsoring ephemeral art installations in open spaces, thereby enhancing the visual and cultural landscape of our community. These installations, developed by both local and international artists, facilitate international exchanges and increase the exposure of our island. They not only beautify the environment but also inspire and provoke thought among residents and visitors alike.

Beyond our installations, our commitment to education runs deep. The arte_FITS Foundation champions art and design as crucial tools for learning and personal development. Our educational initiatives, such as our Mentoring Program, identify and nurture emerging talents, offering them the guidance and resources needed to thrive in the arts sector.\u00a0<\/div>

– School Project<\/strong> – Creative Foundations: Elevating Elementary Education through Art and Design Initiatives: This initiative elevates educational experiences by integrating art and design into the school spaces, programs and events fostering creativity and critical thinking among students. We believe that art and design have the power to transform spaces and minds alike.<\/div>

– The Urban Regenerator at Dorado<\/strong>: During 10 years we worked on impactful art interventions, this project revitalized the urban space “La Marina” in Dorado PR engaging the local community in the appreciation and creation of cultural events.<\/div>
