      11. Flamboyan Arts Fund<\/b><\/span>

        To help mitigate the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the arts and culture sector in Puerto Rico, the\u00a0Flamboyan Arts Fund<\/a>\u00a0has joined forces with The\u00a0Andrew W. Mellon Foundation<\/a>, with additional support from\u00a0Broadway Cares<\/a>, to launch a $1 million emergency relief fund to support individual artists and cultural organizations. These arts organizations can apply through a very flexible process for grants of $5,000 to $20,000 to use toward covering staff salaries, rent, and other basic needs during the emergency. Organizations can also use grant funds to cover the cost of creating or expanding virtual programming, including staffing and technology equipment and services.<\/span><\/p>

        Para ayudar a mitigar el impacto devastador de la pandemia de COVID-19 en el sector de las artes y la cultura en Puerto Rico, el Fondo de Artes Flamboyan ha unido fuerzas con la Fundaci\u00f3n Andrew W. Mellon, con el apoyo adicional de Broadway Cares, para lanzar un fondo de emergencia de ayuda para artistas individuales y organizaciones culturales. Estas organizaciones art\u00edsticas pueden solicitar a trav\u00e9s de un proceso muy flexible subvenciones de $ 5,000 a $ 20,000 para cubrir los salarios del personal, alquiler y otras necesidades b\u00e1sicas durante la emergencia.       12. Km 0.2 and the Contemporary Art Museum of Puerto Rico

        <\/span>The Emergency Relief Fund will also partner with local organizations\u00a0        Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo de Puerto Rico<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Km 0.2<\/a>\u00a0to deploy grants of $600 to over 200 individual artists. Artists of all disciplines can apply for funding through either\u00a0Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo de Puerto Rico<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Km 0.2<\/a>. Applications will be received until May 1, 2020.
        <\/span>El Fondo de Ayuda de Emergencia tambi\u00e9n se asociar\u00e1 con las organizaciones locales Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo de Puerto Rico y Km 0.2 para desplegar subvenciones de $600 a m\u00e1s de 200 artistas individuales. Artistas de todas las disciplinas pueden solicitar financiaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo de Puerto Rico o el Km 0.2.       13. Institute of Puerto Rican Culture (ICP)<\/strong> –\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/www.icp.pr.gov\/cares\/<\/a><\/p>

        The Puerto Rican Institute of Culture (ICP) announced the availability of funds for individual artists and 501 (c) (3) cultural organizations that their operations have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The announcement to apply for the CARES Law \u2013 COVID-19 grant will run until Friday, June 12.<\/span><\/p>

        The grants have a limit up to $ 7,000 for individual artists and up to $ 20,000 for 501 (c) (3) cultural organizations.<\/span><\/p>

        For more information about this grant, those interested can participate in a virtual orientation, this coming Wednesday, May 20, at 2:00 pm through the Zoom platform.
