\t\t\t\tFrom the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial in Japan to the State of Art Wisconsin Triennial in the Madison Museum, the art triennial concept has been used by art foundations throughout the whole world. The most known triennials in the Caribbean are the San Juan Poly\/Graphic Triennial by the Biennial Foundation in Puerto Rico and the International Triennial of the Caribbean in Santo Domingo. The purpose of the San Juan Poly\/Graphic is to \u201cexpand the spectrum of graphic arts, from the traditional engraving to the more ample concept of polygraphic art, which includes all kinds of mediums and artistic languages\u201d (biennialfoundation.org). The latter follows a very humanistic pattern were artists portray their thoughts on identity in the contemporary and concerns of the effects that humans are inflicting on biodiversity and the environment. Art In Golf Triennial\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Dorado, arte_FITS\u2019 ART IN GOLF TRIENNIAL has become very special due to the unique characteristic of placing the art outside of a museum\u2019s walls and in the open spaces of the golf courses in the Dorado Beach Resort. The installations, just like many other projects of the Foundation, fall into the ephemeral Earth Art category, were the art is made by and for nature.<\/p>\n

In the first Art in Golf Triennial, the Foundation worked with many local and international artists, such as Rafael Trelles [PR], Jes\u00fas \u201cBubu\u201d Negr\u00f3n [PR], Cristina Salas Noguera [Ecuador], Vientre Compartido [PR], among others.<\/p>\n

The second Art in Golf Triennial 2015 officially began with the inauguration of local artist Carlos Mercado\u2019s installation Alternative Nature<\/em>. Mercado\u2019s installation was followed by international artist, Miruna Dragan\u2019s Fertile Void IX: Infinite Prosperity<\/em>, and local artists, Jaime Rodr\u00edguez Crespo\u2019s Hole in One<\/em>, and Jorge D\u00edaz\u2019s Public Grounds<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Coming soon for the Triennial: Venezuelan artist, Aisen Chac\u00edn<\/a> & local artist Melquiades Rosario<\/a>.<\/p>\n
