Puerto Rican artist Carlos Mercado initiated the Art in Golf Triennial 2015 with the inauguration of his installation\u00a0Alternative Nature<\/em>\u00a0on February 27, 2014. The objects produced in this installation are extracts from his previous installation,\u00a0Nature Morte<\/em>, which was inaugurated in\u00a0La Campechada 2012<\/em> at Fuerte San Cristobal in Old San Juan. The artist\u2019s inspiration was derived from Puerto Rican painter Francisco Oller\u2019s \u201cBodeg\u00f3n\u201d. This type of art is known as still life, were the elements of design, composition, and light are combined.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
